Travel-Italy.it offers a free and easy to use online accommodation booking service. Whether it's for work or pleasure, we're here to make looking a place to stay in Italy as simple as possible.
It is very easy. After you have completed your search, you will find out the availability and the total costs of the accommodation available on Travel-Italy.it.
Read the details and see the photos of various accommodation, choose one and click 'Book'. Then you will need to fill in the required form with your personal details and a valid contact email address, then click 'Send the reservation!'.
After you have submitted the form, if you have chosen to guarantee the reservation with a credit card, you will receive the final confirmation immediately.
If you have chosen to send a deposit as a guarantee, you will receive an email with the details you need to make a deposit immediately.
If the email does not arrive, it means you entered a wrong email address in the booking form (you will have to go back and repeat the previous step with the correct information).
The email can not arrive even for problems related to your mail account (account unreachable, full account, blocking of spam filters). We suggest you to check the status of your mail account and check the receipt of the email even within the mail marked as spam.
Nothing! Our booking service is completely free for the customer. The whole system is financed by the accommodation available on Travel-Italy.it.
Of course! Some of our accommodation accept a wire transfer as a deposit (the amount of the first night for each room you want to book).
Just click on the ''Book'' button, then 'Book with Wire Transfer' (where available) and fill out the form with your details. You will immediately receive an email with the details you need to make the wire transfer.
We kindly remind you that the accommodations where you can send the deposit by wire transfer may not even be able to accept your application for lack of time needed to send and/or receive the deposit (for example, in case of last minute bookings).

Yes, although we suggest you to use our service to directly check the availability of the rooms with the total amount of reservation and book directly online in order to receive a confirmation immediately.
In any case, before to contact us, please to check the updated availability for the property you want to book and then you can phone or send an email to our Customer Service.
Your email should contain all the information requested on the online booking form, otherwise we will be unable to confirm your reservation (please note that usually the time to process a reservation made by email is longer than a reservation made through our online reservation system).
All the rooms you need. You need to indicate the exact amount and type of rooms in the 'Rooms available' section on the description page of the accommodation.
The rates displayed on Travel-Italy.it are per room (not per person) and per night. Please note that the city tax, if applied, is not included in the total price. It will be payable directly to your accommodation. All the information regarding the city tax are always indicated clearly on our website and in the emails you receive from us.
This information is always shown on the accommodation list page and on the description page of each accommodation.
The taxes are usually included in the total price of your stay. However, some locations (e.g. Rome) apply a city tax which is not possible to add to the total cost as it varies according to the type of accommodation booked and the length of stay. It will be payable directly to your accommodation.
Credit card bookings will always receive immediate confirmation. If you book by wire transfer, you will receive the final confirmation by email as soon as the owner of the property booked receives your deposit in his account.
A wrong email address is the most common reason for not getting a confirmation email. We suggest you double-check your email address before finalizing your reservation.
We have also noticed that the confirmation email is often automatically redirected to the customer's spam folder or the customer's email account is full.
We suggest you to check the status of your email account and the emails marked as spam.

Credit card
Your credit card details are only needed to guarantee your booking.
In case you cancel your reservation after free cancellation terms have expired or in the event of a no-show, the accommodation is authorized to debit a cancellation fee from your card (this is usually the amount of the first night of your stay).
Travel-Italy.it will not debit your credit card for any costs. You will pay for your stay directly to the accommodation booked.

The accommodation may charge your credit card once you confirm your booking just in case of a 'Non-refundable deal'.
Otherwise there will be no charges to your credit card. You will pay directly to the accommodation booked during your stay.
If you do not have a credit card, you can send the amount of the first night for each room booked by wire transfer as a guarantee of your reservation (only to the accommodation that accept this kind of guarantee).
To receive the necessary details, please click on 'Book by wire transfer' and fill in the form.
This information is always shown on the 'Guarantee of the reservation' section on the description page of each accommodation.
Your credit card details are transmitted through a secure server.
This secure channel uses the most advanced and modern technologies that enable the encryption of personal and credit card details. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology encryption method.
We have a SSL server certificate. We also use a firewall to protect our server and our network against unauthorized access.
Best Rate Guaranteed
It is guaranteed that you are getting the lowest possible price at the time of your booking.
If you find on another website your reservation at a lower rate, contact our Customer Service without delay.
We will match the rate of the other deal if the following conditions are met:
1. You have contacted us immediately after booking with all the details of the other deal including a link to the offer on the website and the exact price being quoted.
2. The other deal is bookable online and is still available when we check.
3. The other deal is subject to the same booking conditions you’ve opted for with Travel-Italy.it. This means:
a) It is the same property.
b) It is the same room type, apartment type, etc.
c) It is for the same check-in and check-out dates.
d) It has identical room conditions attached (including the meal plan, cancellation policy, package offer, etc.).
4. The conditions of your booking with us still allow penalty-free cancellations and modifications.
5. The lower rate is in the same currency.
If we can't match the rate of the other deal because one of the above conditions is different, you still keep your existing reservation, including the cancellation policy.
We can NOT offer the Best Rate Guaranteed if:
1. You book through a website that doesn't reveal which property or accommodation type you’ll be staying at until after you've booked.
2. You book using special membership rates, frequent stayer rates, loyalty points, any rewards programmes or special promotions made available through the accommodation provider
3. You don't contact us until after you have checked in.
4. The lower rate is no longer bookable when we look into your claim by email (within 24 hours)
5. You've cancelled your Travel-Italy.it booking
6. You make a late booking – less than 24 hours before the arrival date
Cancellations and Changes
You can only cancel your reservation through our website.
All you need to do is log into the 'My Booking' page by entering the login code and password you received when you made your reservation, then click on 'Cancel My Reservation'.
You can change your reservation by contacting our Customer Service.
No, Travel-Italy.it will not charge any costs for cancellations or changes.
However, you must respect the cancellation policies found on the 'My booking' page and in the emails we send you in order to avoid incurring a penalty.

If you cancel after the cancellation terms have expired or if you do not arrive on your check-in date (no-show), the accommodation is authorized to charge your credit card, or to hold the deposit you sent by wire transfer as a cancellation fee.
We will send you an email within a few minutes of your cancellation.
